About the event
For November we'll explore whiskey from another western slope distillery. Master Distiller, K John Wood of KJ Wood Distillers will join us for whiskey club. John spent many years as a Home Brewer and Home Wine maker, then realized that the next natural step was to develop a business out of his quiet passion for fine craft beverages. Located in Ouray, his spirits use Rocky Mountain glacial waters and the finest of local barley and blue corn for the whiskey.
We'll start the event promptly at 6:30pm.
A special whiskey club cocktail using one of KJ Wood Distillers whiskeys will be available that you can order and sip during the event.
In addition to tasting some great whiskey, John is pairing each sample with fruit or a nut and chocolate. Paired tastings are always really fun for the nose and palate. As always we'll have snack size charcuterie too.
