Tour of World Whiskies (Grand Junction)

For our May Whiskey club event, we'll be joined by Travis Gale who is the spirit specialist & educator for Maverick Beverage Company out of Denver. Maverick Beverage distributes for lots of different spirit brands including a number of whisk(e)y brands  in the US, Japan, and Europe. Travis is going to take us on an educational and tasting journey highlighting six different whisk(e)ys from Finland, Ireland, Austria, India, and Italy. The whiskies we'll explore are a combination of Single Pot Still and Single Malts.

This event is a great opportunity to taste whiskies that you probably have never heard of nor tasted.

Doors open at 6:15pm. A variety of charcuterie and snacks will be available to eat during the event. For this event, there will be three to four signature cocktails that you can purchase highlighting some of the whiskies we'll explore.

Come early for a beer, wine or cocktail in SoCo Social's main cocktail bar. There is street parking for SoCo Social (the old Glorious Fig location) or parking by the Convention Center. We'll be in the private event space across the courtyard from the cocktail bar, just look for the Western Slope Whiskey Club banner after 6:15.

Tickets for this event are $35.
